Greetings!

Hello, and I would like to warmly welcome you to my blog. I would like to think most of my future writing will be factual, but possibly at times embellished for your entertainment. This story does not start at the beginning by any means, however, it does begin in the Fall of 2011 when I was fired for the first time.

You Know It's Bad When...

You know it is bad when you have been jobless for so long you forget what day it is. I know I have only been out of work officially for a month now, but time is a big haze when you don't have any scheduling in it. You can only sit down for so many hours completing mind-numbing applications and only so much entertainment is actually free.

However, there has been some benefits to this unfortunate circumstance. One of which, is I have finally sat down and watched the TV series Mad Men. I am in love with the way everyone talks, moves with purpose, the fashion and culture. Some of us were never exposed to world where drinking is encouraged at the office (come on, some days you wish you had a stash at your desk). People took pride in their appearances, and those women must have spent hours on their hair.

It was nice to see a time when so many people actually believe in their president. I watched an episode that had President Kennedy's assassination, and the way people (I know they are actors) wept over it. It made me think about how people today don't look up to their government quite in the same way (at least from my perspective). We are a group of individuals that need something to be consistent and dependable. A common theme that can tie us altogether, something that connects me to you. We all walk around trying to co-exist with one another, but most of the time we are just in avoidance. Our motivation when we get out of bed is to do whatever it is so we do not have to be bothered. Don't we all just wish we could sit around, or go and do what we want? What we all work so hard to earn?

In the end, we all are trying to do something we feel we get something out of. At the end of the day we are just dollar signs to multiple people. Another person the company has to pay, someone that makes them money, another customer, guest, and person we do not want to deal with. We put so many hats on and target different people, that we forget that we also have others painting targets on ourselves. You know when it's bad...
